
PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION
Three types of psychological evaluation are offered
They may be performed conjointly or separately.
Usually, between 3-4 sessions are needed to complete an evaluation (depending on the complexity of the situation, more sessions may be added). Sessions are ideally performed once a week (but can be performed every other week).

EVALUATION OF THE AFFECTIVE PROFILE
A
Evaluation of the social and emotional functioning of the individual.

Methodology usually used:
Chosen according to the motives
of consultation, preliminary clinical hypotheses, and working hypotheses. Modifications (adding or withdrawing a test or questionnaire) may be done during the evaluation.

Clinical interview.

Projective tests.

Personality tests.

Behavioral questionnaires (for example, questionnaires measuring anxiety, mood, impulsivity).

Results of the evaluation will lead to the definition and implementation of an efficient intervention plan.

EVALUATION OF AN ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDER WITH OR WITHOUT HYPERACTIVITY (ADHD)

Determining if an ADHD is present
or not.

Methodology usually used:

Clinical interview.

Behavioral questionnaires.

Cognitive tests measuring attention processes.

Results of the evaluation will lead to the definition and implementation of an efficient intervention plan.

EVALUATION OF COGNITIVE ABILITIES
A
Evaluation of cognitive abilities,
in order to characterize cognitive aptitudes and their influence on school performance and everyday life.

Methodology usually used:

Wechsler Scale: WPPSI-IV
for 2-7 years old children.

Wechsler Scale: WISC-V
for 8-16 years old youths.

Wechsler Scale: WAIS-IV
for 16-99 years individuals.

Results will lead to the identification of efficient cognitive abilities, and cognitive abilities which could be optimized. Recommendations will be issued, notably in relation to the need of performing a more thorough neuropsychological evaluation.

HONORARY FEES
Honorary fees are paid at the end of each session. A receipt is issued for insurance purposes.
